Why I Created This Program

I know what it's like to eat standing up in the expo window, survive a double shift on a latte, and suddenly realize halfway through dinner service that you haven't eaten a real meal all day. I know what it's like to scarf down a basket of fries between tables, only to end up bloated and nauseous because you barely had time to chew. I know the late-night post-shift debrief over food or drinks, crawling into bed after midnight, sleeping until late morning, and spending your days off simply trying to recover enough to do it all again.

I've lived it.

Now working as a Clinical Nutritionist, I also know what years of living this way can do to your body. Constant under-fueling, relying on caffeine to get through shifts, eating under stress, poor sleep, dehydration, and limited access to nourishing food can contribute to energy crashes, digestive issues, mood changes, burnout, and make it harder for your body to recover.

Most nutrition advice applies to a more conventional lifestlye: 9-5 desk jobs, regular lunch breaks, and weekends off. Restaurant life is different.

Long shifts. High-pressure rushes. Hours on your feet. Missed meals. Late nights. Staff meals that often consist of whatever is quick, convenient, and available.

This program was created to bridge the gap between evidence-based nutrition and the realities of restaurant life.
